  • Coordinate with global teams to partner in the development of new products.
  • Prepare detailed presentations and reports for each product to ensure the sourcing and manufacturing teams are able to produce and deliver the products as expected
  • Evaluate all materials from vendors and ensure compliance to standards
  • Maintain master spreadsheet for product development progress
  • Research existing products and product niches to create ideas for product improvements and product differentiation from existing products in the market

Someone who cannot wait to come into work every day to develop premium products across multiple brands. The product development specialist’s  responsibilities include:

 

  • Develop a detailed project plan for each product in the product development roadmap to  monitor and track progress 
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal  stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility 
  • Coordinate with global teams to partner in the development of new products. This includes the marketing and sourcing teams. 
  • Prepare detailed presentations and reports for each product to ensure the sourcing and manufacturing teams are able to produce and deliver the products as expected.
  • Evaluate all materials from vendors and ensure compliance to standards.
  • Design and maintain a master spreadsheet for product development and prepare appropriate reports. 
  • Research existing products and product niches to create ideas for product improvements and  product differentiation from existing products in the market
